Pearce thrown out at second after near homer

Steve Pearce thought he had another big blow for the Orioles in their first game of the American League Division Series against the Tigers on Thursday. Max Scherzer hung a slider over the middle of the plate in the sixth inning at Oriole Park at Camden Yards, and the slugger nearly made him pay.
