Pet project: Heaney’s Pup Cup supports CHOC

Angels left-hander Andrew Heaney is bringing the Pup Cup to Orange County. Heaney and his wife, Jordan, are hosting the second annual 5K race at Bolsa Chica State Beach on Saturday morning to benefit the Children’s Hospital of Orange County. Participants have the option of running with their dogs, as the event aims to raise funds for CHOC’s therapy-dog program.
