Phillies fall flat in finale, unable to gain ground

The Phillies watched the Braves fold in incredible fashion Wednesday afternoon, but they could not take advantage of a remarkable opportunity to gain ground in the National League East standings Wednesday night in a 2-1 loss to the Marlins at Marlins Park.
