Pirates win bidding for shortstop Kang

The Pittsburgh Pirates posted the winning bid for shortstop Jung-Ho Kang, Major League Baseball announced on Monday. Starting with the day the bid was accepted by South Korea’s Nexen Heroes, Pittsburgh has an exclusive 30-day window to negotiate with the 27-year-old Kang.
