Piscotty’s 5 RBIs help A’s cut magic number to 6
Stephen Piscotty homered and drove in five runs to power the A’s to a 10-0 win over the Angels on Wednesday night at the Coliseum, which lowered Oakland’s magic number to six. Piscotty and Jed Lowrie each hit a two-run double during a six-run fourth inning. Brett Anderson tossed 6 2/3 scoreless innings to help Oakland end its three-game losing streak. Angels starter Felix Pena allowed six runs over four innings while the Halos mustered only four hits.
