Pitcher’s bat helps Rockies forge NL West tie
Antonio Senzatela’s two-run, bases-loaded single in the second inning ended the Rockies’ season-worst scoreless streak at 20 innings and was the key swing in a relief-bringing, 3-2 victory over the Giants at AT&T Park on Sunday afternoon. Senzatela (5-6) also held the Giants to one run on five hits, with five strikeouts, in five-plus innings, allowing the Rockies to hold serve in the tight National League West race.
