Pujols, Ohtani power Angels on stormy night
Taylor Ward’s first career home run capped a five-run seventh inning that vaulted the Angels to an 11-7 win over the Rangers on a soggy Saturday night at Globe Life Park. Pinch-hitter Shohei Ohtani then broke the game open by launching a three-run home run to center field. Albert Pujols homered and finished 3-for-4 with a season-high four RBIs, and David Fletcher went 2-for-4 with three RBIs. For the Rangers, Rougned Odor, Elvis Andrus and Joey Gallo all went 3-for-5.
