Rays’ Wild hopes officially ended by Yanks

Elimination came to the Rays on Monday night in a 4-1 loss to the Yankees at Tropicana Field. Give the Rays credit, they fought hard to give their fans postseason hopes, going 25-8 since Aug. 19 and 38-22 since the All-Star break.
