Realmuto reportedly gets $5.9 million for 2019

The Marlins and All-Star catcher J.T. Realmuto — frequently mentioned in trade rumors this winter — avoided arbitration by agreeing on a $5.9 million deal for 2019, according to a report from MLB Network insider Jon Heyman. The team has not commented.
