Royals can’t recover after Kennedy’s foot injury
Royals right-hander Ian Kennedy left Tuesday’s game against the Brewers after three innings with a right foot contusion. X-rays were negative. He was hit in the top of the third by a line drive off the bat of Ryan Braun, which went for an RBI infield hit.
