Royals’ HRs rock Tigers in Smith’s fine start

Burch Smith went 6 1/3 strong innings with six strikeouts, while Mike Moustakas and Salvador Perez belted home runs to help the Royals even the series at one game apiece. Tigers starter Jordan Zimmermann yielded both homers in his five innings before Victor Martinez launched a three-run jack in the seventh to close the gap.
