Every Winter Meetings has a coda to it, an event that doesn’t generate the same kind of buzz as all of the trade and free-agent rumors that fill the hotel lobby throughout the Meetings’ first three days. But it does involve players changing organizations and, invariably, new big league careers come out of it.
