Sale drops ERA to 1.99 with eight shutout innings

White Sox ace Chris Sale dominated the Oakland A’s with a two-hit, eight-inning performance in a 1-0 victory on Thursday at U.S. Cellular Field. Sale lowered his American League-leading ERA to 1.99, while Marcus Semien homered for the game’s lone tally.
