Samardzija (shoulder) transferred to 60-day DL
Pitcher Jeff Samardzija, whose season was derailed by right shoulder inflammation that surfaced in Spring Training, said Tuesday he will continue to seek information from shoulder specialists as he plots an offseason rehabilitation program.
