Santana rejects qualifying offer
Ervin Santana declined a one-year, $15.3 million qualifying offer from the Braves before Monday afternoon’s deadline. Because Santana rejected the offer and opted to remain on the free-agent market, Atlanta will now receive a compensatory Draft selection if Santana signs with another club.
