Sosa sees vote total drop, falls short in Hall bid
Sammy Sosa received 36 votes, or 6.6 percent, from the Baseball Writers’ Association of America on Tuesday, far below the numbers needed for induction into Cooperstown, but enough to remain on the ballot for another year.
