Source: Escobar among 5 to avoid arbitration

After avoiding arbitration with infielder Eduardo Escobar on a $4.85 million contract on Thursday night, the Twins avoided arbitration with a trio of players before Friday’s 1 p.m. ET deadline. Minnesota settled with right-hander Ryan Pressly for $1.6 million, shortstop Ehire Adrianza for $1 million and right-hander Trevor May for $650,000, according to a Major League source.
