Source: Phelps, Jays agree to 1-year, $2.5M deal
The Blue Jays reached a one-year, $2.5 million agreement Thursday with free-agent reliever David Phelps, according to MLB.com exectutive reporter Mark Feinsand. The deal includes a 2020 club option that ranges from $1 million to $8 million based on number of appearances and games finished.
