Springer day to day after injuring shoulder

Astros center fielder George Springer, who has been battling to stay healthy of late, sustained a shoulder injury in Friday’s 4-2 loss to the D-backs as he made a diving attempt on A.J. Pollock’s RBI single in the eighth inning. “George is day to day. He could possibly be in the lineup Saturday,” Astros manager AJ Hinch said.
