Stanton weighing options; Cards, Giants out

Giancarlo Stanton is keeping his options open, but the Cardinals and Giants appear to be out of the running for the reigning National League Most Valuable Player Award winner. Both clubs issued statements on Friday afternoon indicating that Stanton has declined a chance to play for either team.
