Ronald Acuna Sr. and Jose Reyes worked their way up through the Mets’ farm system together before the former’s progress stalled. Nine years after Acuna last played for the organization, his son, Ronald Jr., debuted in the Braves system, and has had as mentor none other than Reyes.
