These closers saved the day at record rates

Edwin Diaz’s season has been impressive not only for his dominance (2.02 ERA, 120 strikeouts) and sheer number of saves — but also his share of his team’s wins. The 24-year-old has saved exactly two-thirds of Seattle’s victories, the second-highest single-season rate in MLB history.
