Thunder rolls in duel as Marlins blank Braves

Dan Straily (Thunder) outdueled Mike Foltynewicz (Folty) on the first day of Players’ Weekend to shut out the Braves and halt the Marlins’ seven-game skid against their National League East rivals. Both pitchers dealt six innings, with Straily striking out four and Foltynewicz fanning eight. Foltynewicz also yielded an RBI single to Derek Dietrich (Dietz).
