Twins arms combine to quiet Tigers, earn sweep

The Twins got a stellar outing from Stephen Gonsalves in Minnesota’s 8-2 win over the Tigers on Wednesday afternoon at Comerica Park. After Gabriel Moya served as the “opener,” Gonsalves delivered six scoreless innings of relief en route to his first big league victory. Catcher Willians Astudillo drove home a career-high three RBIs to pace the offense. Tigers starter Spencer Turnbull made his first big league start and allowed six runs on six hits over his four innings.
