White Sox acquire Shark in six-player deal

Jeff Samardzija has returned to Chicago, and the White Sox apparently have their sights set on returning to AL Central contention. The White Sox and A’s completed a trade Tuesday that sent Samardzija and fellow pitcher Michael Ynoa to Chicago in exchange for right-handed pitcher Chris Bassitt, catcher Josh Phegley, first baseman Rangel Ravelo and infielder Marcus Semien.
