Wright out with sore shoulder, sent for tests

David Wright complained of shoulder soreness upon reporting to Citi Field on Tuesday, prompting the Mets to take him out of their starting lineup and send him to a Manhattan hospital for testing. There was no immediate word on the severity of Wright’s issue, but manager Terry Collins noted that “this guy plays through so much pain that when he comes in and says something, it’s a little bit of a concern.”
