Yandy’s career day caps Tribe’s outburst vs. KC

Yandy Diaz hit his first career homer and added an RBI triple to cap a career day and halt a three-game losing streak for Cleveland. Francisco Lindor set the tone with a leadoff homer, his 31st. Mike Clevinger (6 innings, 10 strikeouts) was the beneficiary, while Jason Kipnis added two RBI singles. Danny Duffy and Brett Phillips both left injured for the Royals, who got a solo homer from Alex Gordon but little else as their six-game win streak came to an end.
