A’s agree to one-year deals with Davis, Rodriguez

The A’s agreed to one-year deals for the 2015 season with first baseman Ike Davis and right-hander Fernando Rodriguez, agreeing to terms with the two players to avoid arbitration. The club also tendered contracts to its remaining 12 arbitration-eligible players but non-tendered first baseman Kyle Blanks and outfielder Andrew Brown, both of whom were designated for assignment last week.
