A’s prospect Fowler called up; Cahill to DL
The A’s recalled outfielder Dustin Fowler from Triple-A Nashville and placed right-handed pitcher Trevor Cahill on the 10-day disabled list retroactive to Sunday with a right elbow impingement, both moves leading up to Wednesday’s game against the Astros in Oakland.
