Astros blow it open in 10th to stun Rockies

The Astros scored six runs in the 10th inning, highlighted by George Springer’s two-run homer, to stun the Rockies, 8-2, on Tuesday in the series opener. Gerrit Cole struck out nine in 6 1/3 innings and limited the Rockies to two runs for the Astros. Rockies left-hander Tyler Anderson was just as impressive, holding the defending champs to two runs (one earned) in 7 1/3 innings.
