Astros cut ties with OF-turned-pitcher Gose

The Astros placed outfielder turned pitcher Anthony Gose on waivers on Monday after he had just one Grapefruit League outing. If he clears waivers, he’ll be offered back to the Rangers for $50,000, which is half of what the Astros paid Texas for taking him in the Rule 5 Draft in December.
