Astros stay tough on Rangers with 4-run 2nd

George Springer’s double capped a four-run second inning and Jose Altuve provided late insurance with a two-run homer as the Astros took the first two games in this four-game set against the Rangers. Shin-Soo Choo belted a leadoff homer and Nomar Mazara added a two-run double, but it wasn’t enough as Justin Verlander settled in and finished with nine strikeouts.
