C-Mart leads Cards to shutout, series victory
Carlos Martinez did his part to help the depleted Cardinals bullpen. He covered all but two outs himself. Martinez carved through the Brewers’ lineup for 8 1/3 innings on Wednesday, leading St. Louis to a 6-0 win at Miller Park and a 2-1 series victory over a National League Central Division foe.
