Cain ignites Crew’s bats at Coors in opener win

The Brewers notched 12 hits, one short of their season high, and were sparked by Lorenzo Cain’s first-pitch leadoff home run, taking the opener from the Rockies. Cain finished with two RBIs, as did Hernan Perez, while Jhoulys Chacin earned the win Jeremy Jeffress struck out the side for the save. Trevor Story got the save from the Rockies, whose bullpen threw 4 1/3 hitless innings. Colorado starter German Marquez allowed all 12 Brewers hits and five runs.
