Calif. Senate OK’s athlete bill NCAA calls harmful
By a 39-0 vote, California’s state senate voted Wednesday to pass the Fair Pay to Play Act, which the NCAA said was harmful and unconstitutional and would “upend the balance” of national competition in college sports.
