Cards comfortable leaving closer unnamed

One of the most crucial elements to the Cardinals’ second-half push for a postseason spot has been the bullpen. But it’s been almost a week since manager Mike Shildt wouldn’t commit to Bud Norris as the team’s closer, and back-to-back walk-off losses to the Tigers haven’t done much to clear up the uncertainty in the back end of the relief squad.
