Cards’ offense roars in opener against Phillies

The Cardinals banged out a season-high 15 hits, led by Jose Martinez’s 3-for-4, 5-RBI game, in a 12-4 win against the Phillies on Friday night at Busch Stadium. Martinez, Francisco Pena and Kolten Wong went deep for St. Louis, and Cesar Hernandez and Pedro Florimon homered for Philadelphia.
