Cards place Kolten Wong (hamstring) on DL

The St. Louis Cardinals announced prior to Tuesday’s series opener against the Pittsburgh Pirates that they have placed second baseman Kolten Wong on the 10-day disabled list with a left hamstring strain, retroactive to Sunday, and recalled infielder Patrick Wisdom from Triple-A Memphis.
