Cards stun Cubs on Fowler’s homer in 14th
Dexter Fowler’s 14th-inning two-run home run off Luke Farrell gave the Cardinals a remarkable 4-3 victory over the Cubs on Sunday, their second walk-off win in as many days and their first three-game sweep of their storied rivals in nearly three years. After the finale was tied at 2 for seven innings, Javier Baez’s homer gave Chicago a 3-2 lead in the top of the 14th, but the North Siders’ losing skid reached five after Fowler’s first-career walk-off homer.
