Clutch Profar lifts Texas to wild win over Yanks
The Rangers’ young lineup went toe to toe with the powerful Yankees and slugged their way to a series win. After Nomar Mazara and Ronald Guzman homered in the fourth, Jurickson Profar’s three-run double in the sixth put Texas ahead for good after the Yanks plated six in the fifth, due in large part to home runs from Gleyber Torres and Aaron Judge. Didi Gregorius and Neil Walker also went deep for New York, which has hit at least three homers in five straight games for the first time in club history.
