Comeback bid falls short as Braves topped in DC

After spending the past few weeks wallowing through a miserable offensive stretch, the Braves actually proved rather productive at the plate on Tuesday night at Nationals Park. But to add to their recent miseries, their efforts went for naught, as they were never able to erase the early damage Ervin Santana incurred during a 6-4 loss to the Nationals.
