Cruz, Diaz, Haniger named to All-Star team

Closer Edwin Diaz, right fielder Mitch Haniger and designated hitter Nelson Cruz all were named to the AL squad for the July 17 game at Nationals Park in Washington, D.C., while shortstop Jean Segura is one of five AL players contending as a “Final Vote” candidate to be selected by fan balloting over the next four days.
