Dodgers acquire reliever Madson from Nats

With the uncertainty of closer Kenley Jansen, the readjustment of starter-turned-reliever Kenta Maeda and slow rehabs of pitchers Ross Stripling, John Axford and Julio Urias, the Dodgers are willing to overlook the 5.28 ERA of Ryan Madson, acquired Friday for Minor League pitcher Andrew Istler after being claimed off waivers from the Nationals.
