Gott sprains ankle after slipping on mound

Nationals right-hander Trevor Gott slipped on the mound during the sixth inning of Friday night’s 7-3 win against the Phillies and exited the game with a sprained ankle. Gott was sore after the game and will be re-evaluated Saturday.
