Guyer at center of Indians’ highs, lows vs. NY
Though Brandon Guyer entered Saturday’s game 2-for-26 all-time against Yankees starter CC Sabathia, the right-handed-hitting outfielder had an .854 OPS against lefties and delivered a game-tying, two-run single in the sixth inning to take Sabathia out of the game. Guyer, however, was charged with a key error in the seventh inning, allowing the Yankees to take the lead and sealing a 5-4 win over the Indians at Progressive Field.
