Hicks to move to catcher upon Miggy’s return
John Hicks has gone from backup catcher to middle-of-the-order run producer for the Tigers while filling in for injured Miguel Cabrera at first base. Once Cabrera returns, however, Hicks will move back to backup catcher, manager Ron Gardenhire said.
