Hoover’s tough year makes Reds infamy

Reds right-hander J.J. Hoover took his 10th loss on Tuesday night, tying the club record for losses among relievers with Harry Gumbert in 1947 and Tom Hume in 1980. Only Hoover has lost 10 straight.
