Hoz’s walk-off 2B sends Padres past Cards in 13

Eric Hosmer turned around an 0-for-5 Saturday night with a walk-off double in the 13th inning to send the Padres to a 2-1 win over the Cardinals at Petco Park. Tyson Ross and Michael Wacha dueled to a 1-1 draw after six innings, and the bullpens battled into extras. Five St. Louis relievers blanked San Diego until A.J. Ellis’ leadoff walk in the 13th set the stage for Hosmer’s first walk-off hit with the Padres.
