Huntington cautions youth on Tommy John surgery

Pirates general manager Neal Huntington has been moved to speak up about misconceptions of Tommy John surgery by the same alarming trends and studies that led to the establishment of the “Pitch Smart” initiative Major League Baseball announced on Wednesday, a website and book to educate youngsters on how to prevent elbow injuries.
