Kendrick to miss season with Achilles injury

The Nationals placed perhaps their most consistent hitter this season on the 10-day disabled list, hours after Howie Kendrick was carted off the field with a right Achilles injury in Saturday’s first game of a doubleheader against the Dodgers.
